  Staff were the star of the visit, friendly and attentive. We had the brunch buffet and honestly felt it left something to be desired. The layout was beautifully executed, but between soggy waffles, watery scrambled eggs and bacon clumped together, I think it's fair to say that the food portion was perhaps not well thought out.
  
  Hardly any of the foods other than breakfast were touched and that was easy to understand. The cabbage rolls were lacking sauce and just plain odd tasting, the ribs were boiled and then tossed in sauce to be served without any real color, turkey was bland and chewy...it wasn't working as a whole.
  
  Salads and desserts were fresh, soups were also odd choices. Cream of ham seemed more of an afterthought use of leftovers. It's slightly disjointed leaving the restaurant to get your food, but the impression of the spread is impressive. If only as much thought was put into the food as the setup, then there would really be something here. I've sampled a lot of brunch buffets across North America and for the price point, there could certainly be more effort put into food quality.
